One Namespace, Multiple Apps
World Channels are designed to shape-shift according to the app that is accessing them. Multiple apps can be adding content to your World Channel at the same time, and all apps can benefit from the content. MECHA is building a movie app called Glow. Your audience pays you directly for premium content that is only available on your World Channel. Once your audience connects to your channel, the connection is on-chain and you can never be separated from them.
Sui Name Holders
Sui Name holders will soon be able to use their .sui names as identities for their World Channels. World Channels are for everyone. They are not Web3 domains, they are a subscription system for programmable, next generation experiences. If you want a channel name without the ".sui" then mint a dedicated name, such as "My Podcast" or "My AI Movies". Every name is unique. Names can be resold on third party marketplaces.
The GLOW token
Every World Channel has a treasury and can hold tokens from the Sui ecosystem. Transactions between channels require $GLOW. At this time the only way to accumulate $GLOW is to buy a channel. $GLOW is wrapped inside the channel and will become extractable when $GLOW is launched. $GLOW has a fixed supply of 10B tokens.
